Typically you will choose the remove the old carpet and install a new one. Sometimes you will remove the old carpet in order to replace it with wood floor or vinyl floor. In this job we performed the customer wanted us to remove the old carpet in order to install a new one. However, the bigger picture job is new closet doors and tracks installed by a sliding door repair service.

This job has two stages, first, removing the old carpet and pad, also we were asked to remove the tack strips as well. Then, after the new closet doors are installed we will install the new carpet, pad and tack strips that our customer chose.

Our customer just purchased this home and doing renovations all around the condo. It is very common for buyers to make updates and remodeling to the home they just purchased. For us it was important to note that we can do as small jobs as these. Just a carpet removal and carpet installation for the closet area. Therefore, you do not have to run yourself into high expenses after purchasing a new home, but your can target the locations you want to replace.

Carpet Installation

In most cases of carpet installation our customers will examine several different types of carpet and choose one to install in their home. However, in many carpet installation jobs the customer will have the carpet already and will need us to only bring the pad and maybe the tack strips. Usually jobs like that would be smaller. Jobs of replacing a few steps of the staircase, or even replacing one room of carpet. In many homes an extra roll of carpet can be found in the garage or storage area.
